In honor of the 40th anniversary of Tamron's SP lens series, the Nikon F-mount SP 35mm f/1.4 Di USD has been developed to demonstrate their expertise in lens manufacturing. This versatile wide-angle prime lens is well-suited for a variety of shooting scenarios, including street photography and event coverage. Its notably bright f/1.4 maximum aperture performs exceptionally well in challenging lighting situations and provides enhanced control over depth of field. The optical design features a combination of low dispersion and aspherical elements, effectively minimizing various aberrations to achieve superior image clarity and sharpness. Additionally, a BBAR-G2 coating has been applied to mitigate flare and ghosting, thereby enhancing color fidelity and contrast in bright lighting environments. To complement the optical performance, the lens is equipped with a USD motor and Dynamic Rolling-cam mechanism, ensuring rapid and quiet autofocus, along with smooth full-time manual focus override. Furthermore, the lens is constructed to be moisture-resistant and includes a front fluorine coating, making it suitable for use in adverse weather conditions.
